And ……. breathe! I am beyond excited! This week is a pivotal moment for all the team here as we’re launching a brand-new product: ManagementStudio. The solution is already receiving rave reviews from customers who have been upgraded. Find out why below in my blog below.

With the large-scale shift towards high-cadence release cycles in the software world, the number of updates being managed and delivered by the enterprise has increased significantly. Our previous product, MigrationStudio, was fantastic at delivering big-bang migrations, but had limitations when it came to managing multi-level change programmes concurrently. The architecture was also based on older technologies which limited scalability and prevented us from adding certain new features. Consequently, a rethink was needed.

We are thrilled to announce that our new product, ManagementStudio, is here! This is a complete rewrite from the ground up. We’ve taken everything we learned over the past 15 years and applied them to create an incredibly powerful solution which is going to take the enterprise market by storm.

MIGRATIONSTUDIO HAS BECOME MANAGEMENTSTUDIO

There you have it; the secret is out! A new year, a new product and a new name (and there are good reasons as to why we have changed the name). In redeveloping our software, we have added a wealth of new features and functionality. MigrationStudio was always perceived as an OS migration tool (despite us regularly managing O365 migrations, Windows evergreen and many other projects). ManagementStudio builds on the success of MigrationStudio and has become a complete enterprise IT Transformation management tool. We can still manage those OS migrations with ease, but we can now help organisations keep their whole IT estate ‘as shiny as a new pin’.

It is natively ‘multi-project’ and allows any organisation to manage many ‘transformation’ projects concurrently using the same instance. For example, existing customers who have used our solution for their W10 migration will be perfectly placed to start planning for their W11 migration, server migrations, mobile phone migrations, office moves, VDI migrations and so much more.

The evolution from AppTracker to MigrationStudio, Evergreen Servicing Automation and now ManagementStudio has been entirely organic and largely driven by customer demands and is a fantastic opportunity for large organisations to take full control of their users, apps, devices, locations, contact information and so much more to start planning complex IT transformations.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF SOME OF THE NEW FEATURES

CAPTURE, CONTROL, COMMUNICATE AND COLLABORATE

Over the coming weeks, you will hear more about our transformation ‘methodology’ which summarises, very neatly, how we are helping organisations get their IT estates fully under control. We call this, the four C’s and they are as follows:

CAPTURE

CAPTURE INFORMATION IMPORTANT TO YOUR BUSINESS

Seamlessly connect with existing data sources to create a comprehensive picture of your business as you’ve never seen it before. Baseline your business by tracking entities as they move through your project and operations, always knowing who is using what and where.

CAPTURE

CONTROL DATA-DRIVEN RESPONSES TO CHANGE

Add context to business decisions with in-depth reporting and auditing. Use real-time data to trigger automated workflows, improving user experience and service responsiveness. ManagementStudio is all about making business processes more efficient and deliver services quicker. This sentiment is amplified when the automation engine is used to help take your work to the next level. Automating your work not only reduces error and standardises processes, but it means that change can happen at once rather waiting for a project admin to action it. You could even service users that are halfway around the world while you sleep!

CAPTURE

COMMUNICATE WITH END-USERS AND STAKEHOLDERS

Leverage inbuilt communication tools to simplify communicating with end-users, stakeholders, and teams. Build strong, productive relationships within your business that drive action and participation within your audience.

CAPTURE

COLLABORATE, BRINGING TEAMS TOGETHER.

Connect with colleagues, partners, and suppliers regardless of location and time zone. Contribute to multiple workstreams and share updates from a single source of truth.

We will be posting a series of focused blogs about each of these areas over the next few weeks. So, keep your eyes open for these.

USE CASE ADDITIONS

Expanding on our ‘four C’s’, we shall be highlighting several use cases for ManagementStudio. So, for example, we will showcase how our solution can be used in areas such as mergers and acquisition, VDI migrations, O365 and W10 evergreen servicing, file migrations, W11 readiness and preparation and many more.

2022: NEW YEAR AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES

2022 is set to be an extremely exciting year and we cannot wait to start showing off our new arrival. So, if you are a systems integrator or an end-user looking to streamline how you approach IT transformation programmes, or if you are wondering how you manage multiple projects, keep your users engaged in the process, automate and save 1000’s of hours of people time, then do please get in touch.

FREE PROOF OF CONCEPT

Don’t take our word for it, take a test drive! We offer a free 30-day POC (proof of concept). This is a fully-featured install of ManagementStudio and we even get it up and running for you at no cost!
