Next up in our series focusing on our partners is APaaS. We have been working closely with them for a few years now since we first encountered them at a mutual customer. The team are a delight to work with and are ardent fans and users of ManagementStudio. Building on our original AppTracker solution, APaaS has our platform baked into their processes. Their Software Asset Management (SAM) tooling, particularly for Microsoft 365 license optimisation, is revolutionising the way applications and licenses are monitored and managed. With the ability to track application usage down to the minute, APaaS helps clients rationalise their IT estate before migrations, especially in complex industries like civil engineering, where suites like Autodesk are common. This data-driven approach allows clients to make informed decisions on application procurement, while M365 optimisation ensures that each user is assigned the most appropriate license, making transitions from E5 to E3 licenses as easy as “ABC”. To complete this lifecycle APaaS also have the functionality to provide license procurement with a tier 1 support system to ensure all their clients get the most optimised pricing whether is annual or monthly subscriptions.
